Mercury Morris owes the Giants/Eli Manning

I took a picture of this shirt the Tuesday before Super Bowl Sunday. Hindsight being 20-20, I really wish I'd bought all of them for the asking price of $5.99 since now there are none. Buying one before the game would have been karmic disaster. When it comes to things such as traffic and sports, for whatever reason I tend to be overly supersticious. For example, when the Giants scored what turned out to be the game winning touchdown for the next 32 seconds I refused to move or take a sip of beer. This may have seemed at the time to be a wise life decision as I started a new job this morning, but the celebratory shots of Wild Turkey Rare Breed made sure that my better judgment was shot to hell.
I cannot say what happened or what I did to swing the karmic odds in favor of the Giants. I quote TDX in saying "when in doubt go with a sticker." And the batman stickers plastered around my home are a testament to his belief in that. Game 7 of the 2006 NLCS and Super Bowl XLII are more than enough convincing for me to stick to my supersticions.
